As I am writing this, I have completed 11 1/2 days of the challenge.
Highlights:
Last Friday I ran and did crunches. Saturday I did not work out but I ate pretty clean. Sunday was my day off but I still ran about 1 mile (to make up for some of that candy I was going to eat in the evening). Monday I did my upper body workout and ate clean. Wednesday I did my lower body workout.
Food I Could Have Eaten But Didn't:
What I Could Have Done Better:
I know I didn't drink as much water as a should have and on Tuesday the candy jar was calling my name throughout the day. I gave in many times, and several times since. :o(
My Progress:
Considering this week included Halloween and my birthday, I think I did fairly well. To date I have still only lost 1 lb (darn that candy)!!
The Weekend:
We will be camping this weekend so I will try to do my best. My goals are to run every morning and not snack throughout the day. The snacking is what gets me on trips. I'm packing some fruits along with healthy snacks.
Looking Forward:
When we get back I am planning to really put it into high gear. I'm hoping for a great week next week!
Favorite Recipe:
Most mornings I eat a bowl of oatmeal with the following added: a handful of raisins, 1 cut up apple, a few walnuts, cinnamon, and a few frozen blueberries. Not only is it healthy, it is very filling and I can last straight through til lunch without a snack.
Thanks for joining Our Homeschool Reviews. I hope everyone else participating in this challenge had a good week as well. If you want to check the status of all the participants I am linked up with Denise at Got Chai?

Doesn't sound like too bad of a week. I'm thinking that if I can at least maintain that's a good thing. I can't wait to start losing though. Keep up the good work.
Good week! All of those could of eatens sound yummy! Good job avoiding them.
That topping for your oatmeal sounds like an awesome snack and it's almost low-carb. I might tweak that a little and have a yummy low-carb treat. Thanks for the recipe.
