Weekly Wrap-Up #4

Monday we took a wonderful field trip to a local state park to learn about Sea Turtles.  The children learned about the Sea Turtle's habitat, explored the salt water march on the boardwalk trail, observed the sand dunes, and then headed for the beach to enjoy themselves.  It was an absolutely beautiful day for this trip and the kids seemed to have a good time.  The rest of the week was not nearly as exciting, so I'll end with these pictures.  :o)

Jumping Jacks from a nearby cactus (I had never heard of these before)

Oh my gosh! You are so lucky to be able to enjoy the beach this time of year. We are preparing for our first snow and the short sleeve shirts and bare feet have been long gone at our house!
