CSN Stores Cookie Press Review

I purchased this Kaiser Patisserie Decorating Cookie Press from CSN Stores recently.  I received it promptly in the mail, as I have with all items I have purchased form CSN Stores, and made a batch of sugar cookies last week with it. 

This particular cookie press comes with 10 cookie designs and 6 icing tips for decorating cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. 

The box came with easy to understand directions and after giving it a good washing, we were ready to start making cookies!

With the help of my daughter, we found a recipe for homemade sugar cookies.  After we made the dough, inserting it into the barrel was simple.  We were able to make 3 batches of cookies and pressing them out for the first batch was effortless.  Each cookie pressed our perfectly onto the tray.

By the second batch, the dough had become a little soft and warm, so it was a little harder to get the dough to release from the press.  I'm sure placing the dough in the refrigerator between batches would have solved this problem though.

We used all 10 of the cookie designs and here was our final result (they were really good)!

Afterward, the cookie press was very easy to clean.  Since it is made of plastic, the dough came off right away.  

I would definitely recommend this cookie press to someone who was in the market for one, plus it is only $17, which I think is a great price!  So, as Christmas approaches and you find yourself still searching for the perfect gift, this may be it!
