Fit Mommy Friday

Oh goodness...let me start by saying that this was not my best week!  I did so well those first 3 weeks and must have forgot my objective when some goodies came my way.  :o(  We are all human though, right?

I'll sum up my eating this week by describing it as a roller coaster.  Some days were good and some were not!  Exercising was the same way.  I didn't keep track, but I did work out several times, both upper and lower body workouts with weights.  I didn't get any runs in though.  I'm still feeling good and hopeful that today (and the majority of the weekend) will continue as positive.

I weighed myself this morning and had gained a pound (the horror)!!!  My goal is to just get back on track and not worry about my setback.  I think it is important to remember that just because you may have one or two bad days, it does not mean that you need to give up.  Keep going and stick with it!!

Keep checking out my Menu Plan Monday where I'll be posting my meals for next week, and possibly another recipe.

My goals are to continue running, eat clean, and drink lots of water.

Thanks for joining Our Homeschool Reviews. I hope everyone else participating Fit Mommy Friday had a good week. If you want to check the status of all the participants I am linked up with Denise at Got Chai?

Hey Christine~
You can count on there being a wt gain on occasion~as has been my experience as our bodies do fluctuate a little bit all the time. Loads of stuff actually affects our weigh ins..so don't take it all that serious UNLESS you KNOW you are really chowing down and it's a trend~sooo you are doing the BEST THING by getting right back and keeping on track! We REALLY ARE marathon runners when it comes to health/fitness..sprinting is good, as long as it over the long haul...KEEP UP the great work...and Birthdays ARE ALLOWED, right?? HUGS!!

i cant decide

Next week will be better. That pound should come off quickly when you get back to your usual plan!

Lorus!

I love your attitude! We do all mess up on occasion (ok, sometimes those occasions are frequent!) - but you aren't letting a tough week get you down.
Have a great week this week!

My New Life As Mom

A one pound set back isn't bad at all. Our bodies fluctuate so much that one pound is hardly anything. Keep up the great work. You're right, you're human and all you can do is move forward.

Following back from Hop Along Friday.
