Do you remember the barrage of posts last week from bloggers who were diligently making lists of their goals for 2011? Did you jot yours down and jump on that bandwagon? I know I did! ;o) So here we are, one week later. Have you stuck to your goals or do you need a little reminder?
I know I can always use reminders so I went back and took a look at my goals. Here's my update:
1. Improve my eating and work on exercising every day. I am doing very good on this one and have been watching what I eat at each meal. I've also been exercising almost everyday, although I need to add in more cardio, I'm doing great on strength training. :o)
2. Focus on getting school with my daughter completed by lunchtime. I have not accomplished this. :o( Every morning I set out to get school started by 9am but it seems like something always happens to delay it. We have been getting a good deal completed though and we are right on track, we are just finishing later than I would like. Will have to work on this one.
3. Spend more time with my family in the evenings and weekends. I feel like I have been doing a better job on this one. I've been shutting the computer down earlier and spending more time in the evening off it and with the family. :o)
4. Take Maisy, our dog, for more walks. Although we are not getting her around the neighborhood everyday, we are taking her for more walks than we did. She has been sick for a couple days now so once she gets better we expect to get her out more. :o)
5. Take more time on my Bible lessons. Not good on this one at all. :o( I'm still rushing through them at the last minute. I'm going to try to make more time each evening for this.
So those were my goals for the year. I guess 3 out of 5 is not too bad. Always room for improvement, right?
How are you doing on your goals for the year?

What would be great Christine is if you could somehow send out an auto-reminder each month so we can keep on track with our goals... ;)
Kristy
I haven't been as disciplined in week two as I was in week one. Due to lack of sleep, a trip to the hospital, and too much on my plate I will have to try harder. I am happy to hear you are keeping up somewhat better than I have. Thank you for linking to A Day In Our Life Blog Hop. Have a blessed day, Christine.
Kristy, great idea! I can post once a month about it to remind everyone to check their goals. Now I just have to remind myself to do that...lol!
