Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey Review and Giveaway!

Oh my goodness...Honey, this is good!!!  That is what we were all saying when we got a taste of the Tropical Traditions Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey

I am growing to love the products that Tropical Traditions offers, and their honey is no exception!  Let me tell you a little about what makes their honey special.

Their Organic Raw Honey comes from the frontier areas of Canada and only harvested during a 6-week period in the summer.  In order for the honey to be certified organic, the bee hives must be placed in isolated areas, miles away from anything and everything.  Their honey also has not been subjected to the heat of processing and its fine textured crystals are characteristic of pure, unheated, unprocessed, raw honey!

It is seriously the best honey any of us have ever tasted!  My daughter wants to eat it all the time on her toast, or on her sandwich, or even just on the side of her plate.  ;o)

Find Out More:  Certified Organic Canadian Raw Honey is currently on sale and available on the Tropical Traditions website for $10.99 for a 17.6 oz glass jar or $129.99 for a 15lb pail.

If you decide to make a purchase, you can receive your own complimentary copy of their Virgin Coconut Oil book!  When your choose “Referred by a Friend” and enter the User ID: 6515018 on your first online order, the book will be automatically added.

I learned "Tropical Traditions Organic Raw Honey has not been subjected to the heat of processing, only warmed enough to flow (same temperatures the honey would see inside the hive)."

I didn't realize that would make sucha difference and would love to see what it tastes like!

I like the fact that the honey is naturally processed, much like in nature, rather than manufactured.

I'm also a follower.

Thought this was very interesting (from their website): In order for honey to be certified organic, the beehives must be placed in isolated areas miles from the dense population, industry, traffic congestion, and farm fields treated with chemicals and landfills.

Reading that that the honey was produced in an area that makes the honey truely organinic really peaks my interest. In a world full of processed goods, it is nice to get things that seem like they are from your own back yard a.k.a. Canada.

I really like the fact that the hives are so far away from anything sprayed w/ pesticides - I always wondered how honey can be considered "organic". I really want to try this honey.

I've been a subscriber to the TT newsletter for a while. I've even purchased items from them.

What I like best is that it is organic and would feel good giving it to the family.

I'd love to win this product. I just recently got a couple of big jars of Cococut Oil from Tropical Traditions...I'd love to try the raw honey since I use lots of honey in baking {and it's a great soother for sore throats}.

Rachel

I'd love to win this! I found out just how difficult it is to certify honey organic - I've always thought it was kind of a crock (organic honey, considering a bee can go wherever she wants!)

Found your page from the LambAround blog! I found it interesting that Truly raw honeys do not deteriorate with age, but like fine wines, continue to age and develop into more complex tastes. I did not know that until I visited their website. Please enter me into the giveaway, thanks!

I learned that the bees are kept far, far away from traffic and pollutants. Interesting. Also interesting how difficult it is to get honey certified as organic!

I learned that the honey isn't heated for processing - only enough for it to flow.

I like that this honey is organic and not exposed to high temperatures.
