Last summer I went on a quest to find safe sunscreen products for our daughter and found there is little to choose from. So I was elated when I recently stumbled across TruKid, an all natural skin care line for kids! TruKid products are BPA and Phthalate free. They are certified organic and their natural ingredients are always SLS, paraben, 1-4 Dioxane and Gluten-free.
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has awarded TruKid's entire line the safety rating of 0-3! This is the safest rating of all kid's skin care lines! You can see their rating HERE.
They have a whole line of skin care products for kids, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, and more.
We were excited to try some of them out and I have to say that we just love them!
Our daughter has been using the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower each evening. She loves the way they make her smell and the colorful bottles, as well as the silly kid-friendly labels. She's also been washing with the face wash in the mornings. It has previously been a chore to get her to wash her face with more than just water, but she loves the smooth feel of her skin after using the face wash so she has no problem washing now.
My Thoughts: I love the whole product line! Finding safe products for our daughter is important to me and TruKid satisfies that need. Not only are their products made with safe ingredients, they are fun and attractive to children.
Thoughts of a 7-Year Old: I like the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner because they smell good and I like the face wash because it makes my face smooth. My favorite thing about using TruKid products is that they make me feel like a true kid! (Get it?) I think that Silly Shampoo is a good name for shampoo! With sayings like, "Everyone loves bubbles" and "Your hair likes to be silly too", TruKid is really for kids who want to be truly kids!
