What We've Been Up To

I feel like we have been busy the past couple days so I figured I would update you on what we have been up to.

Saturday we were out most of the day running errands.  That evening we went to see Swan Lake performed by the Russian National Ballet.  It was a beautiful show and our daughter loved it!

Sunday we spent the better half of the afternoon driving to and from the beach to ride bikes with some friends.  It was the perfect day to bike ride on the beach, not too hot and not too breezy.  We rode for about two hours before having to come home so we could get to church in time for choir rehearsal.  The children are rehearsing the play Nic at Night.

Monday we were out most of the day with friends on a nature study.  We drove to a Historic Reserve park about 40 minutes away, one which we had never been to before.  The park was beautiful and the weather was perfect!  We sat in on two classes.  The first was called Tell Tale Teeth and taught how to tell the difference between Carnivores, Herbivores, and Omnivores by looking at the teeth of different animals.  The second was a Nature Walk and Talk through the woods to identify the different plants and trees.

Hi Christine, I found your blog from NOBH and came to say hi. Your weekend sounds wonderful... you must live somewhere warm if you've been riding bikes at the beach. I'm in the midwest and I'm thrilled the weather has warmed to about 35 degrees!

Your pictures remind me of my home town in Colorado. The grass wouldn't quite be green yet, but signs of spring are everywhere. It sounds like a wonderful weekend and beginning to the week Christine.

Congratulations on the Star Blogger Award at NOBH. Have a great day.

My daughter has just began to blossom in ballet and can't wait to attend one. The nature walk sounds like so much fun! Love you blog. Have a great evening.
