Covergirl Natureluxe Review

CoverGirl has a new makeup collection hitting the stores called Natureluxe.  If you are in the market for a new brand of makeup, listen up because this collection may be perfect for you.

Included in the collection is the Natureluxe Silk Foundation.  Some great features are that it

* Provides a smooth, silky feel
* Contains refreshing cucumber water to help balance the creaminess on application
* Made with hits of jojoba and rosehip extracts
* Available in 14 shades ranging from light to dark tones
* Oil-free, SPF 10 and dermatologically tested
* Suggested retail $11.99

I received the color "310-flax" and it ended up being a nice match to my skin tone.  I have applied it a couple times and like it's smooth feel. I did not have to apply a lot of it and it spread nicely.  I have another brand of liquid foundation in a similar bottle and this went on my skin much easier.

Also included in the collection is the Natureluxe Gloss Balm.  Some features are that it

* Combines the sheer color and shine of a glass with the soft moisturization of a balm
* Available in 16 versatile, beautiful shades
* Formulated with SPF 15 for added protection
* Suggested to retail for $6.46

I received the color "215-hibiscus".  Although this color was a little bright for me, I like that is goes on like a gloss. Many times I will apply a color of lipstick and then add a clear gloss over it.  This gloss balm is perfect for me because it is the only thing I need.

I want to add that I don't normally wear makeup, and when I do, I like it to blend well and look natural.  I also tried to take several pictures of myself wearing the foundation and gloss but none of them came out very good, so I'll spare you from looking at them.  ;)
