Third Grade Here We Come!
Yesterday, early in the morning, I made the decision to start 3rd grade! I was actually going to start it today, but yesterday we woke up to rain and decided not to go to swim practice. So I quickly threw everything together and off we went.

I am impressed that you would start with such little break. The earliest we have started is mid-July. We are still preparing our material for the school district right now, and there is no way I could start a whole new school year.

That's one of the best parts of homeschooling. You can start when it works for your family. All the best in third grade!
We actually took exactly 4 weeks off, which is quite a bit for us. We take a ton of breaks throughout the year so it works out. :)
Oh, and we had a great first day. Friday I took her to get ice cream for a treat. :)
How exciting to be starting 3rd grade:) Great to be able to begin whenever the urge hits you:)
