The Three Trees Book Review

The Three Trees, by Elena Pasquali, is a book about three trees that each have different dreams.  One wished to be made into a chest of treasure.  One dreamed to become a ship that holds a mighty king.  But the third wanted to stay on the hilltop, pointing to Heaven. 

All three trees were cut down, and the first two were made into things far greater than the things they had wished.  But the third tree got to stay on a hilltop, pointing to Heaven.

I like The Three Trees because it tells the story of Jesus and shows also how you can have your dreams come true and be connected with Him as well.  My favorite part is what the trees turn into.  Each tree has a dream that is closely related to what they really become.  The trees even help some of Jesus’ special miracles to happen.  It has a happy ending and I loved it!

My Thoughts:  Reading her review {one that she wrote all on her own} just brings tears to my eyes.  The Three Trees has been one of our favorite books for many years.  It's a tale of hope and faith...and would be a wonderful gift for any child.
