Weekly Wrap-Up #16

Well this week was very busy.

Monday we drove out to a park with friends where we took a nature walk and listened to a nature talk.  I posted already about it earlier in the week so you can read more about it here.  It was a beautiful day and we had a nice time.

Tuesday we had to make up for what we missed in school the day before so we worked hard and caught up.

Wednesday we went on another field trip with friends to the Museum of Science and History.  They have a homeschool program where they offer classes once a month but this was the first one we have attended this school year.  We saw a Planetarium show about the stars, sun, and planets and afterward we spent some time in the museum.

Wednesday evening our in laws came over as usual and my mil and daughter spent most of the evening in the backyard planting flowers.  Today we bought a few more to add to her garden.

Thursday we had CBS in the morning and then it was back home to catch up on school work again.  We worked hard and fast to finish in time for dance class at 4:30.

Friday (today) we worked on school to finish up for the week, completed our Chocolate Project Pack from In the Hands of a Child, made up a piano lesson, bought more flowers and mulch, planted them, and then made some yummy no-bake chocolate cookies.  The recipe for these cookies was in the project pack we worked on and it was the perfect end to our chocolate unit study.

What a busy week. I am so jealous that you are planting already. We are a couple months away still :( I am hopping in from Friday's Hops. Love for you to stop by. Have a great weekend!

I wish it was warm enough here to start planting but it isn't. I have been to the garden shop and bought all my supplies just waiting for the weather to cooperate. Busy week for you two:)

Sounds like a busy week! Wish it was warm enough to plant here. Brrrr!

We have been enjoying the weather. Hope it stays this way...and no more freezes!

Looks like a great week. Now I know what to do with the wooden playset once my little guy tires of it!

I have the Chocolate Lapbook on my HOAC wishlist - after seeing the treats you made I think I may have to buy it sooner rather than later! Any excuse for chocolate :)

Thanks for linking up on the Mystery Post Hop this week! New GFC Follower :)

Oh my! If those are the cookies you make with quick oats, sugar, and cocoa, then I know those cookies well. We used to make them all the time when I was growing up. They are so yummy!

I am hopping over from Mommy D's. I am a new follower here.

Yes, our playset has many purposes. I've been told that underneath is the "store."

And those are the cookies you are thinking of...oh so good, and super easy to make. :)
