Chloraseptic ~ Sore Throat

Do you have allergies?  I know that since having our daughter I do.  My symptoms usually include sneezing, watery eyes, and pain shooting up my forehead.

But did you know that according to the recently-released 2011 Chloraseptic® Survey on Sore Throats, 31% of respondents cited “allergies” as a leading cause of medically-based sore throats.  This was quickly followed by exposure to dry air as a result of air travel (54%) and screaming and cheering (28%).

I thought these results were interesting and they made me think that having a product on-hand to relieve a sore throat is a good idea.

My medicine cabinet is usually full or fever reducers and pain relievers, but I never have something to relieve a sore throat when I need one.

Thankfully, I was sent a bottle of Chloraseptic Kids Sore Throat Spray (Grape).  It is a #1 pharmacist recommended product, provides fast-acting relief of sore throat and mouth pain, and is alcohol free, aspirin free, and sugar free (which are all very important)!

I also received Chloraseptic Sore Throat Lozenges (Green Tea with real honey).  Again, these are #1 pharmacist recommended, provide fast-acting relief of sore throat and mouth pain, and have a soothing liquid center which relieves pain and cools nasal passages.

Although my daughter has not been able to try out the spray (thankfully), I have tried the lozenges.  The green tea flavor is surprisingly mild and was instantly soothing to my throat.

Find Out More:  You can find out more about these products and others on the Chloraseptic website.  The site also has some great seasonal tips, a cold and flu tracker, and coupons for their products!

Disclosure: This product was given to Our Homeschool Reviews for free for review purposes, and I do not have to return the product to the vendor. I have received no compensation from it and all opinions and experiences within this review are my own.
