Weekly Wrap-Up #21

WOW, this was a busy week!!  It's Friday and this is the first day that we do not have something to do...at least not until later tonight.  Here's a rundown of each day.

Monday:  We went to see a children's production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.  Afterwards we came home, ate lunch, relaxed a bit, and then worked on some school.  It was also the first day for summer swim team practice and that was from 5-6pm.  It run M-Th until school gets out and then it switches to the mornings.  For now, we can only attend twice a week because of dance class.

Tuesday:  Our big girl turned 8 years old so we had a fun day out. 

Wednesday:  We went to the Museum of Science and History and attended a homeschool program called In the Attic.  They brought out several old items and the children had to guess what they were.  Some were pretty difficult and even the adults were stumped.  From there we headed to lunch and a bookstore with a friend, school to pick up a another friend, piano class, swim practice, and back home for some more birthday celebrations with family.  Our busiest day by far!

Thursday:  We had our last official CBS class in the morning and then we picked up some lunch and met a few friends at the park.  It was a beautiful day, and even a little chilly in the shade.  We then headed home, completed some school work, and went to dance class.

Friday (today):  Ahhh, a nice peaceful day at home.  It is overcast today, and just started raining...a relaxing kind of rain. My windows are open, it's dark and cool in the house, and it just feels wonderful!!  We will finally be hanging out at home for the day.  Later tonight though, our daughter has a piano recital at her music studio.  She'll be playing It's a Small World.
