Body Pump

Last week I told you a little about the fitness classes I have been taking at the YMCA.  I started out with a Bosu Circuit class and then took a short Cardio Blast class.

The next day I took another class called Body PumpBody Pump is basically an hour long class that works out every muscle in your body.  You grab a bar, various size weights, and a step.  By the end of the class you end up working out your biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest, and back, along with your calves, thighs, hamstrings, and stomach.

About half way through class your legs and arms feel like mush and and you are trembling all over.  Sounds fun, huh?  ;)

I personally like the Bosu Circuit better because it adds cardio with weights.  {And by the end of class I've probably lost 5lbs just in sweat.}

So my schedule through the end of July is:

Monday: Bosu Circuit (45 min)
Tuesday: Elliptical, Treadmill, or Stair Climber (20-30 min)
Wednesday: Body Pump (60 min)
Thursday: Elliptical, Treadmill, or Stair Climber (20-30 min)

Now if I could just get my diet under control I'll be set.

I'm linking this post up with The Legacy of Home: Healthy Home.

Wow, um, that sounds fun, I think. The bosu circuit sounds interesting. Good luck on the eating.
