My daughter loved this book! Here is an excerpt of her review:
“I liked A Cry from Egypt because it’s exciting, fun, and I couldn’t wait to read what’s next (once I was assigned to read one chapter and I read three)! It has friendship, love, and adventure and you don’t even notice you’re reading history. It’s a great book for all ages!”
She has been patiently waiting for the next book in the Promised Land Series!

I read several TOS review crew reviews that sparked my interest in this book. I would love to read it aloud to Alyssa especially when we revisit her ancient egypt unit study. Thank you for the opportunity!

We're studying Ancient Egypt this fall, so this would be a GREAT book to go with it!
This book about an Israelite family in ancient Egypt before the Exodus sounds fascinating as I love to read historical fiction. If your daughter was reading more than was assigned, it must be good to read for all ages.
