I read Kaia's Blessing aloud to Funny Bunny and we both enjoyed it very much! We especially giggled at the fairies and their individuality and quirkiness. It was hard to put down and, in my opinion, great for all ages!

Kaia’s Blessing, by
Kayla Sizemore, is about a princess named Mira, facing her destiny bravely, a
caravan driver named Charles, who travels around selling the finest things, and
a handful of fluttery fairies. Each character has a part in
Sleeping Beauty’s fate.
Princess Mira does not want to sleep for a hundred years, nor does she want an unknown prince to kiss her. But it’s not something that Princess Mira can choose – after all, she didn’t have a say in the matter when the fairies blessed (and cursed) her.
Kaia is different from all of the rest of the fairies. She isn’t girly, she doesn’t brew potions in cauldrons that much, and most of all, she can time travel. By putting Mira’s best interests in mind, can she come up with the perfect blessing for the Princess?
Charles, the caravan driver, sells the finest goods in the entire kingdom. But he worries about the Princess’s enchantment. Can he convince Kaia to help him time travel too?
I like Kaia’s Blessing because of the excitement and the adventure. It made me want to know what happens next! My favorite part was when Charles time traveled. It is a good book with a Happily Ever After ending!
