Wordless Wednesday: Maisy Hiding

Monday we took Maisy to the Vet for her annual appointment.  She was hoping we would not notice her if she hid under the chair.

I'm brand new to home schooling. Son is 11 and going into 6th grade, daughter is 9 and going into 5th grade. They have both done well in private school, but For many reasons we have decided to switch to home schooling. I've decided to use HOD, but I'm struggling with which curriculum to use. I'm leaning toward resurrection 2 reformation, but concerned it could be too hard for my daughter. Do you think it would be a good program for both 5th and 6th?

Stephanie - I would think she'd do okay with having been in a private school. Usually private schools are pretty advanced. I would encourage you to ask the RTR facebook group since my boys are going into RTR like yours. Here's the link for the group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/ResurrectiontoReformation/

Stephanie, I'm sorry that I am just responding to this. I didn't realize you commented until I read Heather's response today. R2R is recommended for ages 10-12. It is heavy on writing and independent work, so if you think she can handle those, she should be fine. My daughter is in 6th grade but she could have easily completed it in 5th. I'm also in the group that Heather linked below. It's very helpful. Thanks for stopping by. :)
