Lego Link Up

This is my Lego garden.  Some people have weed and feed, plants they're watering, and plants that are supposed to be huge but pea-sized. Sorry Ms. Holly, but you have a dead flower!

The Delicious Diner is yummy!  There is a drive-thru and the specialty is hamburgers and cheeseburgers.  Indy and Harry are eating a thick cheeseburger (right).  Malfoy and Diane are eating a thin hamburger (center).  Oliver and Satipo are having a salad (front left).  Grumpy is ordering a thick cheeseburger (back left).  Madame Hooch is taking a drive-thru order.  The girl on the right is making a delivery with a cart.  The boom box is playing rap music.  I would like to eat here.  Wouldn't you?

Lego Creation Thusday

Michele over at My Blessings From Above hosts Lego Creation Thursday each week.  We had a busy day yesterday so we are a little late getting this posted. 

Below is a Zhu Zhu pet my daughter made. 

My LEGO Zhu Zhu Pet (above) is one I have in real life. Her name is Nugget and (in my house) has a best friend, Pipsqueak. If you take off the wheels, it looks like an inch-worm.
 

Lego Link Up

My daughter just asked me yesterday if there was another Lego project that she could work on.  I told here there was and she started working on it this morning.  Here is her creation, a maze.  Below she tells a little about it.

This is a BIG maze and pretty easy - but be careful! There are lots of dangers along the way! Bob, in the black, made it! He found the exit. Diane, on the left, is sorta lost. She just can't find the way! Gregory, with the white hair, is scared. He just entered the point of no return. Spooky! 

I'll be submitting her creation to Lego Quest.  They are currently on Quest #35, where the challenge is to create a maze or labyrinth. 


Lego Quest is a blog that Sam, crafty mom to two children, started that features weekly challenges for Lego loving kids that are home/unschooled.

I'm glad I found these Lego challenges because it helps to spark some creativity and excitement making new creations!

Lego Mania ~ Linky Party

Melissa over at The Joys of Home Educating is hosting a Lego Mania ~ Linky Party!  It is a February theme of red, valentine, and chocolate (my favorites)! 

Of course my daughter wanted to participate because she loves playing with her legos!  She made this in just a few minutes (she took the theme very literally).

Just in case you can't tell, it is a red box with a chocolate heart inside.  :o)
